A Function First Rebrand: Uinteract
In 2022, I lost my job like thousands of other Missouri citizens due to the pandemic. I was forced to utilize the Missouri unemployment system for the first time, and I was shocked at its dated appearance and disorganized content. Nothing about applying for unemployment benefits was intuitive, and I found pain points for users in almost every section.
Navigating being unemployed is stressful enough - Missouri citizens deserve to move through that process efficiently, and with dignity. When I decided to teach myself UX/UI Design, I knew creating an update for Uinteract would be a fulfilling place to start.
A New Brand Identity
My first goal was to create a visual identity that would bring the Uinteract brand up to the digital standard that app users have come to expect. This redesign provides efficient and user-centric solutions for unemployed Missourians who need reliance and clarity.
